HPGL and HPGL/2 - Plotter Defaults
These settings are the standard defaults or plotter defaults. They
are only used if you have activated the setting "file" on the card
"Misc" in the sections "Pen source" and "Color source" but there
are no details for pen thickness and pen color in the
corresponding plot file!
If instead of these presets you want to use special settings for
your current print jobs, instead of "File" you must activate
"Custom" at this point, where you can then adjust your individual
settings on the cards "Pen" and "Color". The settings have the
following meanings:
• Default:
If you activate "Default", the plotter uses the settings
stipulated here for the printout. They correspond to the
standard values of an HP DesignJet 1055 and cannot be
changed.
• Black / White:
The printout is produced in black-and-white. Any possible
grey shades are ignored. But the pen size can be changed.
• User Defined:
You can change the pen thickness and the grey shades,
