• User Code Authentication:

In RW-480 PLOTBASE: only print jobs, that job owners are

registered, can be printed out from RW-480 PLOTBASE

In RW-480 SCANTOOL: a registered user code is required if

you want to use RW-480 SCANTOOL

The lower section "User Database" contains the list of users that

have been set up, which you can edit according to the settings

at the plotter.

To delete a user that has already been set up, mark the user in

the list and click once on "Delete".

To edit the password or user code for a user that has already

been set up, mark the user in the list and click once on "Edit", to

open the corresponding boxes for making the changes.

To set up a new user, click once on "New" and enter exactly the

information details which you have noted from the procedure

stated above for setting up the user at the RW-480 plotter!

No other pre-settings are necessary in RW-480 PLOTBASE. But

in the job editor, it is necessary to enter a name in the "User

name" box which is also allocated at the RW-480 plotter. A

corresponding note can also be found in the necessary section

of that manual.

In RW-480 SCANTOOL, the users have to enter their password

and user code immediately before scanning if the "User

authentication" is activated for the RW-480 plotter. You can find

a corresponding note to this effect in the necessary section of

that manual.

No pre-settings have to be made in the PLOTCLIENTS. Here it is

only necessary to ensure that a name is entered in the "User

name" box in the "Job specific" tab which is also allocated at the

RW-480 plotter. A corresponding note can be found in the

necessary section of the "RW-480 CLIENTS" manual.

"Administration" tab

You can protect the settings you have adjusted under

"Properties" from unauthorized access. To do so, use the card
