CONFIGURATION

Normally the PLOTCLIENT user can use all job settings. But

maybe the administrator want to limit the user rights for certain

PLOTCLIENTS. For example, he wants the drawings which are

made in AutoCAD to be printed only in DIN A3. Then he can

configure a Reader which doesn´t allow or ignore the format

setting in the PLOTCLIENT (in our example PLOTCLIENT HDI).

Only the format settings of the Reader´s Default.SSL will be

considered. The default .ssl file is created automatically for

every interpreter. It consists the default settings for the jobs. If a

client has no access right for a setting the program will use the

default setting of the Default.SSL. Further information about

Default.SSL you can find on page 60.

You can create one or several own interpreters for every

PLOTCLIENT program for individual configuration of the print

job settings for the users of this program. The procedure of

creating a reader and setting the access rights is as follows:

1. At first create a new Reader. Click "New".

2. In the next window do the following settings:
