CONFIGURATION
copies of the drawing files that are to be printed. These files
are first stored in a spool directory and then automatically
deleted by the program after processing.
However, the job file can also be changed in such a manner
that original files stored in another computer can be
accessed. Deletion of these files after processing by RW-480
may not be desirable. In this case the check box for the
function described here should then be deactivated. On the
other hand if the original files are to be deleted, then this
function should be activated.
• Quota:
You can also limit the amount of hard drive memory used by
the job files. In this way, you can prevent too much of the
hard drive being used for the job files in the spool folder.
You must first activate this function by clicking on the check
box. Presetting is "0". Enter the maximum hard drive capacity
for the job files in the activated field. If the "Quota" value is
passed, the spool folder will be locked for further print jobs
and it won’t be released until having free capacity on the
hard disc. If the given value is exceeded, the whole hard disc
will be locked and will not be released before disc space is
given by deleting for example processed print job files.
• Spool Timeout:
RW-480 PLOTBASE will start to print a job immediately. If
RW-480 PLOTBASE has not yet received all of the job data, it
will wait until the remaining data arrives.
You can limit this wait time (in seconds). If the wait time
expires RW-480 PLOTBASE will not wait any longer but start
the job and eventually print it incomplete.
