CONFIGURATION
To activate the response click on the activation check-box.
Additionally you are asked to specify the path to the
response data. By default the response data in the spool
folder.
Within PLOTCLIENT/WEB you can then browse the status of
the jobs.
You can instruct the software to send an e-mail automatically
every time the job is finished. The e-mail is sent to the
creator of the job. This feature requires that a valid e-mail
address is entered within the job editor.
For further information please refer to chapter "Job editor",
page 93.
• Units:
You can set which size unit is to be used for your RW-480
PLOTBASE work: You can choose between "millimeters",
"inches" and "pixels". The applicable units are then displayed
in the status bar of the main program.
• Pattern file:
To ensure optimal print-out of your HPGL and HPGL/2 files
you can specify the grey-scale pattern. This should be
selected in keeping with your artwork master: Drawing or
photo.
This setting only has an effect on print-out if the "Loadable
Pattern" setting has been selected in the pin settings (see "Job
Editor" - "Default Additional" tab - HPGL settings - "Misc" tab
- Fill pattern).
• Job Flag Sheet:
The Job Flag Sheet contains information about the print job
and will be printed together with it as last sheet. To do so,
you must activate this function in the job editor ("Job Specific"
tab, function: "Job flag sheet") by clicking on the control box
"On". If an job cannot be printed, the job flag sheet informs
you about the corresponding errors. If you have not activated
the function "job flag sheet", instead an error page is printed
when a processing error has occurred.
In the selection list to be found here, you can select a
"medium" and a "medium source" for your job flag sheet and
the error page. There are two rules for printing these pages:
