CONFIGURATION
occurred in the PostScript or .pdf file. A constantly activated
.log file takes up extra memory and impairs the performance
of the program somewhat.
After activating the function, print the faulty drawing file
again. You can then find the cause of the error in the .log
file. Then deactivate the protocol function again.
But if a postscript file contains major errors, no protocol
entry is created. In this case, the postscript file must be
looked at in greater detail.
• Postscript Format:
The image size of a PostScript file can either be read out of
the PostScript file or ascertained from the drawing data.
Normally the image size is readout of the PostScript file: in
this case there is a tick in the control box. This is the standard
setting. But if you find that the drawing is only incomplete,
then the image size can also be defined directly from the
drawing data. In this case, deactivate the option "Use format
size of file". This action proceeds automatically with the
program if the PostScript file does not contain any data for
the image size.
• Additional font paths:
The standard path only is initially given in the field. The font
path refers to a folder, in which the fonts are stored. If you
wish to refer to other font paths, ask your dealer or support
technician.
