CONFIGURATION

• Type:

There are basically two types of interpreter: .ssl and .cfg. SSL

readers are used by PLOTCLIENTS which generate SSL files,

(PLOTCLIENT/WIN, RW-480 SCANTOOL, PLOTCLIENT

WEB). SSL can be used to collect and submit several files as

one job. CFG readers are used for PLOTCLIENTS which do

not generate SSL files but CFG

files. To this class belong PLOTCLIENT HDI, PLOTCLIENT

LPR, PLOTCLIENT FTP and WINPRINT.

• Time (Sec.):

Generally the program will react immediately on new jobs in

the spool folder. In some cases it might happen that this

method does not work (usually in mixed operating system

environments). For this reason the program additionally

checks periodically whether new jobs have arrived. The value

specifies how often the reader should do that. If you expect

very few jobs per hour, a value of half an hour or even one

hour might still be ok..

• Reader Access:

In this area you can specify which print settings may be

specified in PLOTCLIENT and which not. If the settings may

not be specified by PLOTCLIENT and you still do specify the

setting, this specific setting will be ignored by the reader. In

the above left dialog there is a list of settings which are

assigned to the print settings in the PLOTCLIENT.
